Is it worth upgrading now?

So in light of this new technology, your probably asking yourself is it worth upgrading my TV now? or even at all?
Well the long and short of it all is that the technology itself is the future, and given the benefits of using LED technology rather than LCD technology the reasons for purchasing one outweigh the reasons not to. If you are big on your films or your a gamer this is a definate must have, High Definition has never looking so good!!
So what are you getting for your money?
The LED technology makes broader contrast colour therefore creating deeper more authentic blacks. Each LED light has the ability to switch itself on and off giving the TV the ability to create a wider range of natural colours. The resolution is far superior to any standard LCD TV, with a whopping 1920×1080p HD resolution compared to 1280×1080 on the better LCD Televisions.

- Mega and Dynamic contrast ratio
- They support Internet@TV
- DLNA
- Two USB 2.0 ports

As well as all of the above, here are a few good reasons why LED TV’s are worth considering….
- LED TV technology reduces power consumption by 40% which is a huge figure, especially in the new greener looking world.
- Size - With the new technology comes its ultra slim design, Samsung offer an outstanding Television which stands at just 1.2 Inches thick.
- Auto motion allows fast moving pictures to still be displayed in amazing quality, something LCDs did not quite master.
Conclusion
If you were to compare all of the above to your standard LCD television you will realise there is quite a big difference. Now the price….
Well if you work in dollars you are looking at anything from $2500 and $4000
If you live in the UK you are looking anything from £1000 to £2000
While prices are very high at the moment, to be quite honest its about weighing it up. Do you want one now? Or do you want to wait?

I researched this purchase at length before buying. I read all of the rules, checked our budget then consulted with a family member who owned one. I couldn’t be more happy with our purchase. It was exactly what I needed. The seller was great and the product was exactly as advertised. Super easy to hook up, even for a novice like me. Would highly recommend this product.
the only thing I would ask for , in addition is , on a non HD channles, the picture is streched , all the skinny actresses looks a bit fat
I think no other TV is doing that as well.
