How Much Money Can I Save?

samsung-led-tv-1

So your looking to get the latest HD LED TV, you have your money ready and a space reserved in the living room, the last question you need answering is how much money will I save from switching to a LED TV instead of a LCD TV. Well at 40% less energy used lets do the maths.

The Avergage US household will use about $56 worth of Electricty with a 42″ LCD TV.

You would save a total of $22.40 per year.

If you live in the UK… The average UK household will use £37.53

You would save a total of £15.00 per year.

Very pleased with this Television. The detail and quality in the picture is great and spectacular with a Blu-ray disc. My wife says “It looks like you’re looking out a window.” Only thing I would change is that my living room is ~30 ft and our couch is 28 feet from the screen, so I would’ve purchased a larger screen. The density of the image allows you to sit much closer without seeing pixels.

This is a quality television set. The picture looks crisp, football is what I use the tv for mostly..that and xbox 360. This tv is awesome for both of those things. Also, blu rays are fantastic on it….this tv is the total package pretty much.

  • I would really love to win this TV. Man it would look great in my man cave. I would have a newer, better TV to play my PS3 on. Sweet!

  • LED TV’s are just a stop gap between LCD panels and OLED sets. Fat panel screens will be history within 5 years.
